My second day interning. Spend the whole morning waiting for the speech that Bush made in the UN General Assembly to be released on the web. Took forever. Seriously, countries like Gabon had their speeches out before the US. Even France had it out after 5 minutes. The rest of the day was starting to write something about the speech today and the ones he had made in previous years. Seems like an alright work for the moment.
Did the preliminary reaction essay on The Art of War and sent it in, hopefully better then the other text. Found one of those surveys from the Swedish student barometer or whatever in my mailbox. Very fun to see. It was meant for the ones below 25 so I couldn't resist. Very strange questions. More likely for those below 18. What sort of education can you think study for in the future and such thing. Then we came to the more fun part of "alcoholic culture around you". Definitely the people around me drink to much compared to myself and of course theres to much focus on the bad habits of alcohol. This makes me think on a dinner discussion I were participating in about wearing suit all the time. One of my friends complained that he didn't like wearing it, but I liked it. Cover up your growing stomach and at the same time its connected to partying as I only had it during special events as when I took "Studenten" and during very good events hosted by SVIK. Unfortunately I can't use it for that here, but anyway. It still has the same aura.
