The Mysterious Cities of Gold - S3E23 - The Veils of Rana'ori

Maybe the youtube-translation program was correct about the golden fleece being an important item for this show

As I guessed it was Sancho and Pedro that had caught up with Mendoza. They are all brought to the beduin camp where they meet the chief who doesn't like foreigners and pretty much tells them to stay and wait for a caravan since it isn't there buisness. Later one of the flying contraptions land with the female pilot, who saved them when they were caught in a dead end, arrives with news that they found the golden condor to east, but the beduins won't lend them any dromedary so Mendoza and gang steals two and head off, but are quickly followed by the flying machines and the dromedary riders that bring them back to face the punishment for stealing dromedaries.

Meanwhile, the kids intend to escape during the night, but Ambrosius compass tells them that some orichalcum items are nearby, pointing to Jabbars treasure chamber. There they found the veils, but are caught by Jabbar that imprisons them. In the morning Zares arrives to get the veils and are also shown the kids. As the transaction goes on, the kids reveals that the coin that are used to buy the veils aren't of gold, but orichalcum, but since they don't have any value Jabbar's soldiers attack Zares, Laguerra and Gaspard. The kids flees and head for the condor. Nice to see Gaspard actually being competent in a sword-fight for once.

The documentary was about the caravan pitstops that Jabbar controlled and also about how the "oasis's" was supplied with water.
